OVERVIEW
The Xebex AirPlus Runner Smart Connect is a non-motorized, self-generated, curved treadmill. It uses no electricity and instead runs on the energy produced by the runner’s own movement on the treadmill. Beginners and competitors can run at desired speed and change output at will with no maximum or minimum speed setting. Further, the AirPlus lever allows users to adjust the resistance from level 1 up to level 8 for added resistance. Use our multi-grip handlebar to mimic sled drives in various handle grip options.

THE AIRPLUS ADVANTAGE
The Xebex AirPlus Runner Smart Connect is a non-motorized curved treadmill that enables athletes to train more efficiently with the incorporation of AirPlus technology. AirPlus technology combines air and magnetic resistance to provide an enhanced training experience that users of all skill levels can benefit from, from novice athletes to high-level competitors. An easy-to-use resistance lever allows users to adjust the magnetic resistance from level 1 up to level 8 for more challenging resistance.
BENEFITS OF RESISTANCE ON A TREADMILL
If you want to be faster and stronger, you need resistance to train your explosive power. Olympic and professional athletes apply this principle to their training regimens using weighted sleds, resistance bands, or a parachute while running; they are adding resistance in order to build more explosive power and strength. With the AirPlus Runner, you’re able to adjust the resistance between 8 levels, giving you the ability to mimic parachutes (low resistance), resistance bands (medium resistance), or heavy sleds (high resistance).
WHY CHOOSE MOTORLESS?
Non-motorized treadmills are proven to burn 30% more calories than traditional, motorized treadmills. This is due to the self-powered nature of the machine. Users use their own power and effort to propel themselves forwards and the treadmill belt backward, thereby burning more calories and improving running form. Run at desired speeds and change pace at will, with no maximum or minimum speed setting — no fumbling with buttons between steady walks and fast sprints.
UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES
The AirPlus Runner has very high resistance capabilities. A total of 20 oversized magnets applied to two separate flywheels gives users the option of high-resistance possibilities that you won’t get from a conventional motorized treadmill. Multiple design revisions were made during the development of the AirPlus Runner to ensure that the resistance level could match what a heavy sled push should feel like. Additionally, the magnetic resistance provides exponentially greater resistance the faster you run.
RESISTANCE SCALE
Level 1 on AirPlus Runner: Although there is no magnetic resistance applied at level 1, you may feel slightly more weight compared to the standard Xebex Runner (without AirPlus). This is because you are moving more parts on the AirPlus Runner (the two additional flywheels) than on the standard Xebex Runner, making even the lowest setting a bit heavier. Level 8 on AirPlus Runner: Maximum resistance applied, very heavy.
LOW-IMPACT COMFORT AND FUNCTIONALITY
The running belt is composed of 10mm thick, shock-absorbing slats made from vulcanized rubber. This reduces the impact on the joints, such as knees and hips, providing a much more comfortable and safer training experience, especially helpful during long-distance runs.
INDUSTRY-LEADING CONSOLE AND SOFTWARE
Designed with high-intensity interval training (HIIT) in mind, the Xebex Runner console keeps you informed on your Time, Calories burned, Distance, Speed, Watts, RPM, and Pace, all on one display. Prioritize your preferred metrics with any of the display windows: Resistance Level, Time, Heart rate, Speed (KM or Mi), Distance (M or Mi), Watts, Calories, Pace (Minutes per KM/MI), RPM, and more. Activate the backlight for better visibility in dimly lit rooms. Compatible with ANT+ chest belts.
PROGRAMMABLE INTERVAL FUNCTIONS
A number of target and interval programs are available, including Interval, Pace, Target Finish Time, Target Distance, Target Calories, Split Time, backlight, and more. The console will also record history such as Total Run Time, Distance, Total Calories, Max Speed, and gives a summary at the end of workouts. Improve previous benchmarks by setting “Target Time + Distance” and the console will actively remind you if you’re “on pace” or need to run “faster” in order to finish the targeted distance within the targeted time.
TRAIN SMARTER
The easy-to-use console features Smart Connect, which allows users to connect our Smart Connect equipment to a variety of 3rd party apps as well as group leaderboard software. Set “Event Mode” to easily manage competitions and athlete testing.
MULTI-GRIP HANDLEBAR
Mimic sled drives in various handle grip options using the multi-grip handlebar. The added resistance on the Runner also means you can train for explosive power and sled work in a 67″ x 35″ area without having to set up other equipment or go outdoors.
CONVENIENCE
The battery-powered console eliminates unsightly and inconvenient plugs — no additional power is required. Keep your phone or other mobile device within reach on the treadmill frame and console tray. A water bottle holder on the frame keeps your drink handy. Built-in transport wheels make it easy to move the unit.
ADJUSTABLE INCLINE HEIGHT
The latest AirPlus Runner model (shipped after 08/01/2023) allows users to manually adjust the deck’s incline height by 3 settings: 0 (default), +42mm (medium), and +84mm (light). The higher the curve angle, the easier it will be to run on the deck.
MANUFACTURING
The Xebex Runner is manufactured and assembled in Taiwan using high-quality components from Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan. A total of 114 bearings, including 4x pillow block bearings, and roller guides with a 2.3mm lateral tolerance all come together to provide a smooth running experience that helps improve running form while increasing workout efficiency.
