Completed in 2012, Zen has become a prominent landmark within the Melbourne skyline. Its golden lantern-like top stands as a glowing beacon on the northern edge of the CBD.
The vision for Zen was to create a place of refuge within the bustle of the city. A sense of serenity was captured through the curation of lustrous interior finishes, opulent lobby designs and a previously unseen range of resident amenities.
Zen comprises 427 apartments in a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom configurations. Each has been meticulously planned to achieve good levels of storage, generous internal spaces and optimise views across Melbourne.

From the initial planning and costing process through to the full fit out implementation and training, ongoing service, maintenance and advice.

From the first initial meeting with the PDG Corporation directors we knew this was a project we wanted to be involved with.
We were given the outline and brief and a set of plans to the gymnasium. From here we outlined the equipment that would best be suited to this project.
After this we presented a scale drawing on the two gyms ZEN and Harmony and quoted on complete supply and fit out.
After some further consultation the project was awarded to Xtreme Fitness Australia.
At this point our project manager was appointed, and the whole project was coordinated with precision. Prior to delivery our service technicians did a site evaluation and reported back all aspects that may affect the smooth operation, from access points to OH&S issues.
Working in with the site supervisor while the building was still under construction, we were able to manage the full installation with ease.
The project was delivered on time and without any disturbance to the construction workers.
After handover, Xtreme Fitness than conducted a two week post service inspection and general once over of all of the equipment.
We also implemented a preventative maintenance program that continues to keep the equipment in perfect working order. Three years after the initial installation the equipment still looks like it was purchased yesterday.

From the initial Consultation to full completion took about 10 weeks. For a project of this size the majority of the products were imported directly this generally takes approximately 8-10 weeks.
Once the stock arrived we stored in our warehouse for a couple of weeks until the workman had completed the construction of the gyms and access was available.
Once we gained access the equipment for both gyms was delivered and fully operation within 4 days.
At Xtreme Fitness Australia we have our own fully qualified service technicians, to coordinate the installs. With this particular project, we hired and additional 3 installers to help our guy’s get the job completed in a timely manner.
Yes were possible we do a site evaluation and measure up as well as work of architectural designs and plans.
